Generasi Hebat:
What makes the people in this generation so great? IMHO, they are the people who achieve things at a young age. They are also the people who achieve things when they started out with no resources. The ones that came from a poor family, studied hard, got themselves somewhere in life and then moved on to pioneer many of the great things we see in the world today. Okay, take a step back and look at this country. The great ones would be TS YTL and what he’s accomplished for himself and his family, the two generations that followed. SP Setia, the brainchild of TS Liew Kee Sin is reason enough to deem him as one of this generation’s hebat people. One on my friends stay on his developed properties.
So one day, I would like to be one of my generations greatest. I’d be a “Boleh Go-getter”. Imagine how proud my parents would be of me. Imagine how much money I could make!
“I would make so much money I could foam at the mouth. I would have so much money I could hire someone to wipe the foam off my mouth for me! I would have THAT MUCH MONEY!”, (KidSisterAmelia, 2009).
*hit rewind*
I need to get my degree first. Sigh.
It’s crunch time in uni once again.

Even for KidSisterAmelia
It feels as if times like these come by too often. My final assignment due last Friday carries a weight of 40%. Finals are in less than a week, two units of which I’ve been perpetually lost in (all semester, at least).
But like I said, it feels like this happens way too often. Coffee in the morning, noon and night. Burning the midnight oil trying to complete assignments on time, on top of everything else. Dark, purple circles under my eyes, which can only be covered up with concealer. But then again, half, if not most of the time I’m too damn lazy to apply anything to uni altogether.
Mom and Dad were saying I look really “chaan” the other day, to which I snappily retorted “Well, it’s Monash, you remember what it was like being in Monash, right?” They both graduated from Monash, Clayton, you see. Hence they are very proud of themselves and hoping their daughter will accomplish the same.
Then last weekend when I didn’t tag along for my family’s usual grocery shopping spree, my dad arrived home and called out for me like he had something HUGE to show me. Honestly, I started thinking to myself “Oh God, what did he get conned into buying THIS time?” only to rush downstairs to hear him say “Nah, Manda! Stay alert, stay awake with Brands Essence of Chicken! Aktif Alert!!!” and shove a big box into my hands. –.-“

It’s good that it’s working though. I take one before I go to bed so I can relax and one before I leave the house in the morning so that I feel refreshed.
I don’t say no to coffee though.
